The recommended number of participants that should be in a Design Sprint is usually 5 - 8 participants. Typically these should come from different disciplines (Product, Marketing, Design, etc) and at least one key stakeholder.
The Design Sprint can be run both Remotely or In-Person. The only difference being in setup remotely will be slightly different and In-person can be done in your office.
